Ever since his untimely passing last year, we've heard rumblings of a posthumous album being shared by Lil Peep's estate. Smokeasac, a producer that worked hand-in-hand with Peep over his career, had been teasing the eventual release of Come Over When You're Sober Pt. 2 and now it looks like it's finally coming out imminently. We're still waiting for a release date and any other information but the rollout will officially begin tomorrow as Peep's team will be sharing a brand new song and music video.
The announcement was made on Peep's Instagram page as his camp has been keeping fans updated on the regular. A snippet of "Cry Alone" was shared on his Instagram story yesterday and now, we're getting the first glimpse into the upcoming music video. It seems as though Peep, himself, will be making an appearance in the video as some phone footage looks to be included in the clip. "Cry Alone" will serve as the first single off of the upcoming Come Over When You're Sober Pt. 2.
There were reports earlier in the week that Quavo had dissed the late Lil Peep on one of his album cuts, which the Migos rapper denied in a tweet a few days later. A few posthumous releases have recently surfaced from the artist, including collaborations with XXXTentacion and iLoveMakonnen. Are you looking forward to hearing the new track?
