A new Lil Peep album is on the way.

Today has been a good day for Lil Peep fans. Although nothing can ever bring Gus back, his memory lives on forever through his music. A few hours ago, his collaboration with the late XXXTentacion dropped as a posthumous release for the both of them. As their art is eternal, a major question that has been pondered is whether or not we'll ever see another Lil Peep album. His go-to producer Smokeasac has already confirmed that he's been hard at work perfecting Come Over When You're Sober Pt. 2, working for much of this year in order to get it where it needs to be. While it's unclear whether or not Part 2 will be the album dropping soon, sources have told Variety exclusively that an album is being prepped for a posthumous release.

The project is expected to include the collaboration with X and plenty of other unreleased material that Peep was working on. It should be coming in the next few months via Columbia. Considering the amount of content that has already been released since his passing, it's become pretty evident that Peep had a lot of music in the vault.

Lil Peep died of a drug overdose last year, leaving his fans devastated at the loss of one of the most promising young artists in the world. He was 21 years old.
