Amber Rose has maintained her image as an outspoken individual, rarely shying away from topics that others may find uncomfortable. In a recent Instagram post, Rose let it be known that she feels that her swag has been jacked one too many times by individuals who refuse to reference her work or invite her to participate.
In the post, Amber addressed the amount of work and dedication she pours into her annual SlutWalk "an event geared toward raising awareness about sexual injustice, domestic violence, and gender inequality," as stated in the mission. "Every single year I put my blood, sweat and tears into my slutwalk. I did not create the SlutWalk movement. I did, however bring it to the forefront for this generation. People remind of this daily, through their deliberate attacks and evil comments. It becomes extremely frustrating when brands are “inspired” by the movement and curate my actual life story and use it as a marketing tool," she wrote.
Amber finished up the post calling out the hypocrisy behind the way people chose to view her, and the message in her former flame Kanye West and Lil Pump's song "I Love It." Two men made a song that said “you’re such a f*cking hoe I love it” but if I refer to myself as a hoe, take back any derogatory label and turn it into a positive or be confident in my sexuality in anyway muf*ckas need 30 showers" she wrote. "And I’m literally the evilest person on earth yet everyone wants to take my f*cking swag but look down on me?" she continued.
The shower line was in reference to a comment made by Kanye about his relationship with Rose in an interview with The Breakfast Club in 2015 where the rapper said, "It’s very hard for a woman to wanna be with someone that’s been with Amber Rose. I had to take thirty showers before I got with Kim [Kardashian]."
