LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers are huge underdogs heading into their fourth consecutive NBA Finals matchup against the Golden State Warriors. If they manage to pull off the upset, those who were bold enough to place a bet on the Cavs at +650 will be looking at a nice payday... and those who retweet Cleveland Browns defensive back Damarious Randall will be receiving a new jersey.
Randall, who was traded from the Green Bay Packers to the Browns just months ago, has shown support for Steph Curry and the Warriors throughout the playoffs, which led him to tweet the following last night.
"If the Cleveland Cavaliers win the 2018 NBA finals I’ll buy everyone who retweet’s this a jersey..."
17 hours after Randall sent out that message, the tweet had already been retweeted over 321,900 times, which is three times as many followers as Randall has on twitter. With jerseys going for roughly $100, that puts the 25-year old defensive back on the hook for over $32 million in gear.
One fan tweeted that there's "zero chance" Randall delivers on his wager, but he was quick to respond, "100% chance."

The Westgate SuperBook in Las Vegas opened Golden State as a -1,000 favorite to win the Finals, making them the largest favorite in at least 16 seasons. Golden State is 12-point favorites heading into Game 1 on Thursday night, which is tied for the largest point spread in an NBA Finals game since 2001, when the Los Angeles Lakers were a 12-point favorite over Allen Iverson's Philadelphia Sixers.
