We've all fallen for fake news before, it's one of the many side effects of the Internet these days. Just yesterday we posted on Azealia Banks' recent "tweets" where she went after Nicki Minaj for collaborating with 6ix9ine on their new track "FEFE."
"Too much for me. I’m deleting my barb card membership. She is officially over. Pedophilia is absolutely gross and evil. Anyone who supports that shit is a lunatic. I'm sorry. Dude gets convicted and you’re still trying to help him out of it? That is very dark," we thought Azealia tweeted.
It seems as though the user who sent out the numerous messages was not the "Anna Wintour" singer at all, or so she's claiming. Azealia hopped on her verified Instagram account and added a message to her story saying the following: "Guys. Cheapyx0 on Twitter isn’t me. My handle was cheapyxo. I didn’t want to acknowledge the account but it’s annoying now.”
Well there it is, another day another fake account cancelled out. It was easy to assume the comments were coming from Azealia considering her past verbal attacks against numerous other females in the game, even Nicki specifically, but the Twitter account @Cheapyx0 is not the real Azealia - case closed.
