LeBron James' 16th signature sneaker with Nike will reportedly make its retail debut on September 20. Thus far, the kicks have been only been revealed in a black and university red colorway which is that pair that will release next month. Of course, now that LeBron is a member of the Los Angeles Lakers, we can expect Nike to churn out multiple colorways inspired by the purple and gold uniforms as well.
LeBron shared multiple shots of the Nike LeBron 16 last night on social media, revealing a sneaker with that familiar Flyknit construction, as well as the visible Zoom/Max Airbag that was utilized on the LeBron 15. The kicks also feature LeBron's lion logo on the heel, which hasn't been utilized much at all since the Nike LeBron 8, and his LJ crown logo on the tongue, as well as a Nike swoosh towards the heel, reminiscent of the Nike LeBron 3.
It's still unclear how much the Nike LeBron 16 will cost, but we expect Nike to release that information and other specs about the latest LeBron signature in the very near future.
