Actors Kit Harington and Rose Leslie attend the premiere of HBO's 'Game Of Thrones' season 7 at Walt Disney Concert Hall on July 12, 2017 in Los Angeles, California.
Jon Snow & Ygritte tie the knot in reality.

Game of Thrones fans who were upset by the death of Jon Snow's wildling girlfriend, Ygritte, can take solace in knowing that their romance was much more than just a ploy for the cameras.

In what was likely the smartest casting decision ever, the two actors have been dating since 2012, and now the two were married in the most Game of Thrones appropriate wedding imaginable.

According to TMZ, the King (and now Queen) of the North were married in yesterday in the Kirkton of Rayne church in Scotland. In true Scottish style, Leslie's kilt-sporting father walked her down the isle. All your favorite Game of Thrones stars were in attendance, including Peter Dinklage, Emilia Clarke, Sophie Turner, and Maisie Williams.

After the ceremony, the reception took place at Leslie's family castle. Yes, you're reading that correctly. In an ironic twist of fate, it seems that the wildling girl was actually royalty after all, as her family are descendants from King Charles II, and they do actually own a castle. Not a bad deal for the bastard son of Lord Stark.

With Game of Thrones coming to an end with it's upcoming eighth season, it's nice that the cast will still be able to get together as friends outside of the show. Clarke, who recently wrapped her portion of the shooting, delivered an emotional dedication to her time working on the show that has become an international sensation.

For you distraught Game of Thrones fans, never fear. HBO is planning to give you even more stories from Westeros once the show ends.
