WWE SmackDown Live Women's Champion Becky Lynch won't be squaring off against Raw Women's Champion Ronda Rousey at this Sunday's Survivor Series PPV as originally planned.
In promotion of the highly anticipated champion vs champion match, Lynch and other members of SmackDown Live's women's division invaded Monday Night Raw last night and brutalized the women's roster, including Rousey. The melee only added to the hype as the show came to a close with Lynch standing in the crowd, her face bloodied, and "The Baddest Woman On The Planet" fuming in the ring.
However, Lynch sustained a very real broken nose and a concussion during the planned brawl and she has therefore been pulled from Sunday's card, according to a report by Fightful.com (H/T Cageside Seats). SmackDown Live's go-home show ahead of Sunday's PPV will air tonight, and it remains to be seen how WWE will handle Lynch's injury, as well as their revised plans for Rousey at Survivor Series.
