The Duke Blue Devils brought in a plethora of five star recruits this summer including Zion Williamson, Cameron Reddish, R.J. Barrett and Trey Jones, making for one of the most prolific incoming classes in recent memory. Needless to say, Coach K's Dukies are once again poised to compete for a National Championship next season.
Of Duke's incoming freshman stars, Zion Williamson might have the most hype surrounding him and it's easy to see why. The 6'7, 285 lbs forward from South Carolina compiled an electric highlight reel - which includes an assortment of jaw-dropping dunks - while playing for Spartanburg Day School. His size and athleticism have some comparing him to LeBron James. While some may feel it's way too early to put that label and lofty expectations on an 18-year old kid, others, like Stephon Marbury, feel it's a totally deserved and accurate comparison.
In fact, Marbury believes Zion Williamson is better than LeBron, and is the only person who has the opportunity to better than Michael Jordan. Not only does Marbury believe Williamson has more talent than the four-time NBA MVP, but he says it's not even close.
Marbury said the following during a recent IG Live session (H/T USA Today), "Only Zion has the opportunity to be better than Michael Jordan. That's the only person right now that has that opportunity ... Zion is going to destroy the whole planet." Marbury added, "Zion is way better than LeBron – it's not even close."
