Nike's Kobe Protro series, which began with a retooled version of the Nike Kobe 1, will reportedly continue in early 2019 with the release of the Nike Kobe IV Protro.
According to sneaker source Soleheatonfeet, the Nike Kobe IV will re-release in February in a "White/Orion Blue-Varsity Purple" colorway, which is the same color code as the Charlotte Hornets inspired "Draft Day" rendition that dropped in 2009. Nike rolled out several colorways of their Kobe 1 Protro line last February during the NBA All-Star Weekend, so it's reasonable to believe the Kobe IV Protro will follow the same pattern.
Like the Kobe 1 Protro, it is believed the Kobe IV Protro will look exactly the same as the original but with functional, up-to-date technology and cushioning. The 2019 version of the Nike Kobe IV has not yet surfaced but you can get a good idea of what to expect from the '09 version shown in the posts embedded below.
