While We Wait for Kehlani's new mixtape to arrive in a few days, the talented vocalist is back with another new song to hold us over. She previously came through with "Butterfly" and now, one of the features is out in the open for us all to hear prior to the official project release. When Kehlani shared the tracklist to While We Wait, we were instantly excited by the contributions that Dom Kennedy, Ty Dolla $ign and others had planned and now, we're getting a glimpse at what Lani's collaboration with West Coast rapper Dom Kennedy sounds like.
Today, Kehlani introduced us all to "Nunya," a smooth track where she lays it all on the table for an ex-partner. What she's basically saying here is that whatever she's up to these days is none of their business. Stop hitting me up, stop sliding in the DMs, etc. She's in a good place right now as she's expecting her first child and she has no time to deal with negativity. "Why you worried 'bout who's fucking me/Who's to the right of my SUV?" asks the songstress. It's really none of their business and she's not interested in entertaining that type of nonsense.
Dom Kennedy spits a clean verse on Hit-Boy's production here. What do you think of the new single?
Quotable Lyrics:
Why you asking 'bout X, Y, Z?
Why you worried 'bout who's fucking me?
Who's to the right of my SUV?
It's Nunya, Nunya, Nunya biz
