Vic Mensa announced his HOOLIGANS EP in November, and right from the onset, we knew the key players involved: G Herbo, Ty Dolla $ign, G-Eazy, Charlie Wilson, Mr. Hudson, and the artist currently known as "Jesse." But we still don't know how things are going to play out, collaboratively-speaking. Vic Mensa leans to the Goth-side, making the rest of the supporting cast seem "basic" in comparison. And by "basic" I do mean employable. By all accounts, eight tracks is a generous number of songs for an EP. Vic Mensa, gothic or not, will be pleased with the total.
Bits and pieces of the project have already been released to the public, including the "Dark Things" music video, and the G-Eazy and G Herbo collabos operating as preemptive singles. The other five songs will be withheld until deadline day on December 14th, unless he wants to blow the remaining "surprise elements" and I doubt he does. Check out the promo trailer (above) Vic posted on Twitter this morning.
