There isn't another animal rights organization that goes as hard as PETA. A few days ago, Tiffany Haddish announced that she'll be protesting police brutality against Black people by wearing fur and once the unnecessary killings stop, she'll drop the fur. However, PETA hopes that she'll find another way to protest.
PETA issued a statement towards Tiffany Haddish's decision to rock fur in protest of police killing Black people. The organization said they hope she reconsiders how she chooses to protest without having to harm animals or humans.
"We love you, Tiffany, and as an animal rights organization, we advocate for and believe in kindness towards all, including animals," the organization commented. "We hope that you choose to protest in a different way that doesn't harm any humans or any animals, but is kind to all."
A few days ago, Haddish took to Instagram to reveal that she snagged a new fur vest from a fan after a show. She even apologized to PETA ahead of their statement, knowing they'll probably have something to say about it.
“I’mma wear fur every day until they stop killing black people. When the police stop killing black people, I’ll stop wearing fur,” Haddish shared in a video. “It’s my new protest. So sorry, PETA! Don’t be mad at me. Be mad at the police. When they stop killing black people, I’ll stop wearing fur … Because people are important, and so are the animals.”
