Known for his bright red dreads, Trippie Redd has decided to switch things up to honor his friend XXXTentacion. The two may have had their differences in the past but they publicly made up after squashing their beef, preaching love. Previously collaborating with X on the 17 cut, "Fuck Love," Trippie really began to blow up after the track released. Allowing him to gain exposure from millions of his fans, the Canton rapper has been on an incline since. Dropping off a previously unreleased collaboration between himself, XXXTentacion and Ski Mask the Slump God, Trippie has been posting several tributes to his fallen friend since his passing on Monday. With Bhad Bhabie urging him and 6ix9ine to slow down their shenanigans, Trippie has at least made a prominent change to his look.
Switching up his hairstyle, the "Love Scars" singer bleached half of his hair bright blonde with the other half black to recreate a famous XXX look. The do did not last a long time as it was simply a transition to his half-red-half-black look but he made sure to capture the X-inspired locks on camera. Uploading a video of the finished product, Trippie said that now, he and X "are one" because of the matching hair.
The countless reactions and tributes to XXXTentacion have been touching for a lot of people. A suspect connected to X's murder has been arrested and there are currently two warrants out for the arrest of two other men possibly connected.
