It's been so long since we've had a rap beef that actually involved trading bars that when it actually happens it feels like a treat, and according to one of Drake's producers, there might be a lot more coming.
When Pusha T sent shots at Drake on his track "Infrared" off his new Daytona album, people were excited. The last time Drake got into a real rap beef he won a Grammy for it, so everyone was anticipating his next move. That move came with his explosive "Duppy Freestyle," which has since sent the rap world into a tailspin. The invoice he sent to G.O.O.D. Music after was just icing on the cake.
One person who has really impressed with Drake's diss was The Kid Mero of Desus & Mero. He posted a tweet with a picture of the invoice, as well as a shocked reaction image. Producer Jazzfeezy, who has worked with Drake in the past on his song "Can't Have Everything," replied to the tweet, teasing a whole lot more energy coming when Drake's Scorpion album drops.
"It's bout to get heated my guy lol wait till the album," Jazzfeezy wrote, alongside a gif of Scorpion from Mortal Kombat, implying that Drake may be delivering a few more "fatalities" come June. Whether it's more smoke for Pusha T, or whether Drake has some new targets in mind, it seems that it's going to be a hot summer this year.
Pusha T better hurry and drop his response to Drake before Scorpion drops, unless he wants to get "Back to Back"-ed.
