Last week's episode of Atlanta had its own share of special moments, but there was one more entertaining scene that had to be left on the cutting room floor.
Atlanta executive producer and director, Hiro Murai, felt the need to post this clip on his Instagram, saying it was too good to go to waste. The clip features the shows stars, Donald Glover, Bryan Tyree Henry, and Lakeith Stanfield, swaying to the tunes of TLC's "Creep."
In the episode, the trio head to a college town to perform at a pyjama-themed concert, and are therefore clad in the finest of silk pyjamas. During a quiet moment in a parking lot, the three of them notice that their flashy outfits bear a striking resemblance to the outfits the members of TLC wore in their "Creep" video. Glover and Stanfield's characters begin to do the side-to-side dance from the video, with Henry eventually joining in on the festivities.
While the dance moves may not be at quite the level of a choreographed TLC video, the outfits are definitely on point. Though in the original TLC video, they're using a lot less buttons than the Atlanta trio are. That being said, it's a pretty cool homage to a group that has managed to influence even the most popular of current artists. While it would have been cool to have featured in the episode, thankfully Murai was kind enough to share it with the fans.
