Lil Wayne is set to be the musical guest on this week's episode of "SNL."

Lil Wayne is back in action as we like to see him. The rapper's been dealing with some serious label troubles over the past few years, and although there are still some issues he needs to settle with Birdman, he got out of his contract with Cash Money and finally unveiled the long-awaited Tha Carter V. As he's been promoting the project, the rapper is gearing up to make another special appearance on Saturday Night Live as this week's musical guest.

Lil Wayne has hit the SNL stage on numerous occasions so it comes as no surprise that he's a familiar face on the set. The rapper starred alongside Kate McKinnon and this week's host, Liev Schreiber in the weekly SNL promo. In the first clip, all three of them reminisce as old friends as they crack inside jokes. However, Wayne takes a more serious note in the second promo when he threatens to walk off the set if they didn't do a certain sketch.

"If you guys don't do a sketch about Mama Mia 2, I'm walking," he tells McKinnon and Schreiber.

Wayne will be hitting the SNL stage to perform two songs off his latest project, Tha Carter V which debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200. The rapper recently released the music video for "Uproar" so it wouldn't be shocking if he ends up performing the song this weekend.
