The Hangover is one of the biggest movie comedy franchises of all time. Ken Jeong featured in a multitude of shows, such as MadTv and Entourage, before he landed the two most famous roles of his career. Leslie Chow in The Hangover series and Ben Chang on Community. Jeong's acting career may be his main source of income now, but he was once a doctor. From saving lives to making people laugh, the talented comedian has seen the highs and lows of the human experience. Now, after years of putting in work, Jeong is pairing up with the leading platform for comedians, Netflix.
According to Deadline, Jeong will film a Netflix stand-up comedy special this Fall at the Ice House Comedy Club in Pasadena, California. The special has been tentatively titled Ken Jeong: First Date. The comedian will speak about the highs and lows he's seen throughout his career, including giving up practicing medicine for comedy, and dealing with his wife's breast cancer. There is no scheduled released date for the series, but with it being filmed at the end of the year, you should expect it to hit Netflix early 2019. Currently, Jeong is wrapping up production for the Goosebumps movie sequel titled Haunted Halloween.
