Will "Greenbrier" even be about Walter White?

Yesterday, we reported that "Breaking Bad" creator Vince Gilligan is developing a spinoff movie version of the series and that is set to begin filming sometime this month. The New Mexico Film Office even put their official stamp on it, saying, "the movie Greenbrier will begin production in the Duke City mid-November through early February."

As for specific details about the show, we have very few. We know that it's two hours long and that it "tracks the escape of a kidnapped man and his quest for freedom." We don't know where it will air–on TV or in theatres–and we don't know who the kidnapped man is, although one commenter on this site had a theory. Young Scholar, living up to his name, mused: "'tracks the escape of a kidnapped man and his quest for freedom.'... Sounds like Jesse after escaping in the finale."

As for Walter, it turns out that Bryan Cranston is unclear about his own role in it. In an interview on The Dan Patrick Show he said, "I honestly have not even read the script...there's a question of whether or not we would even see Walter White in this movie." When asked if he would be "interested to play Walter White in the movie" he said "I would. Absolutely." The question is whether or not they want him in it. Watch the interview below:
