If you're a big fan of television than you most definitely have at least seen an episode of Breaking Bad. Now while you may not have watched the entire series, there is no denying that the show, which followed a chemistry teacher's rise to infamy in the world of Meth cooking in light of being diagnosed with cancer, was a cultural phenomenon.
According to World Of Reel, Vince Gilligan, the creator of the show, is making a movie based around the Breaking Bad universe and now we know some of the names that could be involved with the project.
The report states that the film is titled Greenbrier and takes place immediately where the show leaves off, with Jesse driving away laughing hysterically. They also say that "Jonathan Banks (Mike), Jesse Plemons (Todd), Charles Baker (Skinny Pete), Matt Jones (Badger), Robert Forster (Ed, aka The Disappearer), Tess Harper (Mrs. Pinkman), and Kevin Rankin (Kenny)," will all be reprising their roles in the film.
Included in these names is Bryan Cranston who famously played Walter White and Krysten Ritter who played Jane. Both of those characters died in the series, so it would be interesting to see how they're used.
Cranston has said in the past that he'd be interested in doing a project like this. “If Vince Gilligan asked me to do it, then sure, absolutely,” Cranston said on The Dan Patrick Show. “This idea, from what I’m told, gets into those, at least a couple of the characters that were not completed as far as their journey.”
