Drake is now Spotify's most streamed artist of all time.

Drake's reign is far from over and his streaming numbers are a reflection of that. The rapper held onto the top position on the Billboard Hot 100 for a large portion of the year and Scorpion broke nearly every streaming record upon its release. As we approach the end of the year, Spotify has released their year-end "wrapped" charts and Drizzy tops several of their lists.

Drake is not only the most streamed artist of 2018 with 8.2B streams, but the rapper is also now the most-streamed artist on the platform ever. Scorpion is Spotify's most streamed album while "God's Plan" is the platform's most streamed song of the year. Drake had previously held the title for the most streamed artist of the year in 2015 and 2016.

Post Malone, XXXTENTACION, J Balvin, and Ed Sheeran round out the top 5 most-streamed artists in the world. Drake, Post Malone and XXXTENTACION also dominate the most streamed songs of the year. XXXTENTACION's "SAD!" follows "God's Plan." Post Malone nabs the third and fourth positions with "rockstar" ft. 21 Savage and "Psycho" ft. Ty Dolla $ign before Drake rounds it out with "In My Feelings." Post Malone and X also join Drake for most-streamed albums. Post Malone's beerbongs & bentleys and X's ? take the second and third most streamed albums of the year.
