Jim Jones has been hit with a slew of felony charges from his arrest this past June in Georgia where police discovered drugs and firearms in the vehicle he was riding in, TMZ reports. Jones has been officially charged with three counts of a possession of a controlled substance as well as two counts of possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony. Additionally, the Dipset rapper was also slapped with a 6th count of possession of marijuana which is a misdemeanor charge.

Back in June, the rapper was arrested in Georgia after a car he was riding passenger in led police on a chase. The cops ultimately discovered a slew of controlled substances including marijuana, oxycodone, Percocet as well as vape cartridges and two loaded guns. However, no one in the car, which included an additional three passengers aside from Jones, admitted that the items were there's which resulted in everyone's arrest.

Jones arraignment for the charges is scheduled for this month. The rapper faces decades behind bars if he's convicted on all of the charges he's been hit with.

Aside from his legal troubles, Jim Jones recently announced a release date for Dipset's new album, Diplomatic Ties. The album is expected to drop on Thanksgiving. Following the album, Jim Jones announced that The Diplomats will release an accompanying documentary.
