With San Diego Comic-Con happening as we speak, so many of the most anticipated film and television projects are being carefully revealed and rolled out to coincide with the event. Earlier in the day, a new teaser for Godzilla: King of the Monsters was unveiled and that was obviously not all we were going to receive. With so much news coming from Comic-Con, the previously-announced Sons of Anarchy spin-off show was not about to get lost in the shuffle. After becoming a cultural phenomenon, Sons of Anarchy ended in 2014 but we've known about the project based on SOA, Mayans M.C. for some time.
Set in a post-Jax Teller world, Mayans M.C. has just been given its first official trailer and it's looking pretty intense so far. As the name suggests, the series will focus on the Hispanic rivals-turned-allies motorcycle club that was shown throughout Sons of Anarchy. The trailer is filled with shots of the crew running drugs and getting into similar trouble as we've become used to. Revealing several of the major plot lines to follow in its inaugural season, Mayans M.C. is looking like an intriguing watch so far.
This is just one of the many announcements coming out of San Diego for Comic-Con weekend. Mayans M.C. is set to premiere on FX on September 4. Will you be tuning in?
