Pusha T season is officially here as his new album is slated to drop this Friday. It's been over two years since he dropped off King Push -- Darkest Before Dawn: The Prelude. Since then, he's been working as the President of G.O.O.D Music while grinding away at delivering his next project. There hasn't been much details about it except for the fact that Kanye's supposed to be producing the project in it's entirety. However, according to a screenshot shared by Push's manager, Steven Victor, the album is getting some heavy praise for legendary figures in hip hop.
Victor's been sharing a little bit of detail on Pusha T's forthcoming album through Instagram and Twitter. Earlier today, he shared a screenshot of a group text with Pusha T and Mike Dean. According to Dean, Nas has incredibly high praises for the album
"Classic album. Nas said so." the message read.
In addition to Nas' co-sign, it was reported earlier that Pusha T's new album won't be titled, King Push anymore. Scott Werner, co-host of OTHERTone podcast with Pharrell, shared a screenshot of an advance streaming copy of the album which had the title Daytona. It seems that Steven Victor has confirmed that on the same post as the caption reads, "Daytona..."
Despite the name change, Pusha T seems like he'll be a contender for album of the year with his upcoming project.
