New Pusha T is officially dropping this Friday.

After Kanye West announced a slew of new albums dropping from the G.O.O.D Music camp, there hasn't been much word from the artists themselves. Pusha T was the first album to drop from the label with what many people assumed would be his highly anticipated project, King Push. The album's roll out thusfar has been done through hearsay and words directly from his manager and other people such as influencers and industry insiders. However, Push has officially broke his silence to confirm his new album is dropping this Friday.

Pusha T took to Twitter to confirm that his new album will be titled, Daytona and is expected to drop this coming Friday. Over the past few days, the majority of talk about Push album has been done through industry insiders. Earlier today, Scott Vener, co-host of OTHERTone podcast alongside Pharrell, revealed that Push's album is called Daytona. In addition, Victor shared a screenshot of a conversation with Push and Mike Dean with the caption reading, "Daytona..."

On the album's name change, Push said, "I changed the album title from “King Push” to “DAYTONA” because I felt it didn’t represent the overall message of this body of work. “DAYTONA” represents the fact that I have the luxury of time. That luxury only comes when u have a skill set that your confident in."

He continued to share a very Kanye-like explanation of his album and its creative process behind it. "I don’t have something to say to you everyday, nevertheless create a song abt, this music comes from a real place every time..." he wrote, "This is all happening in real time, you don’t have my art work because i don’t have my art work...the final master was turned in 2 hrs ago, no single (what are those?), I’m not interested in any of that..."
