Last night's American Music Awards has been grabbing headlines for a number of reasons. Whether people are looking to catch a glimpse of some of the nights most elaborate fashions, or hilarious crowd reactions, the show seemed to have it all - jaw-dropping performances included. Artists such as Taylor Swift, Ella Mai, and Cardi B performed their hit singles, much to the audience's delight. Among the A-list names who took the stage was Jennifer Lopez. The fit and talented 49-year-old mother of two brought the house down with a performance of her new single, "Limitless."
Clad in a chic, silver and eye-catching ensemble, J Lo proved she had maintained the stage presence that first catapulted her success as a musician and performer. The song "Limitless" is from the soundtrack of J Lo's forthcoming film, Second Act, slated to hit theatres in December. Fittingly, the "I'm Real" songstress was introduced by her co-star in the film, Vanessa Hudgens, who labeled Lopez a "legend" before she took the stage.
Earlier in the night, J Lo told Access that the song was written by Sia. She said that she asked Sia to pen the single if she felt compelled to after watching Second Act. She revealed, "I had her go and see the movie and said, if you get inspired, just write me something."
