Last night, Cardi B took to the American Music Awards stage to deliver a highly anticipated and widely celebrated performance of her chart-topping single, "I Like It." Cardi was clad in a colorful, ruched gown and cast in the glow of warm lights on a set made up of romantic flowers and rotating plaque - elements which combined to emulate the lively, latin feel of the song. Cardi was joined by Bad Bunny and J Balvin who naturally, evoked cheers and dancing from those in attendance at the award show, and from audiences at home. One reaction in particular, however, has caught the world's attention.
Saturday Night Live alum Taran Killam was filmed with an emotion that can only be described as awe written across his face as he and his wife, How I Met Your Mother alum Cobie Smulders, took in Cardi's performance. Cameras captured Killam with his jaw dropped and unsurprisingly, people can't seem to get enough of it. One observer tweeted, "Taran Killam’s face during Cardi B’s killer performance is the best thing to come from this show," while another commented, "I think this sums up Cardi B on the [American Music Awards] tonight." Killam himself has humbly accepted the honor of 'Best reaction of the night' tweeting "Oh-kuuurrrrrrr" in response to a tweet from the official American Music Awards account.
