Netflix keeps adding to its catalog.

Netflix plans on having 1,000 original movies and shows streaming by the end of 2018. While that may sound like a far-fetched goal at first, if you've been keeping up with all the new content the streaming service has been releasing, and all the content they're announcing, it feels like they will have no problem reaching that number. Matt Groening, the mastermind behind The Simpsons, will be joining a long list of other reputable creators, producers, and actors who have chosen to work with Netflix.

Groening will be bringing his new animated adult comedy, titled Disenchantment, to the streaming site sometime this year. He took to Twitter on Tuesday to release a first look at the series, previewing the main characters. "A princess, an elf, and a demon walk into a bar," wrote Groening in the post. "The new series from The Simpsons creator Matt Groening, coming soon." The pictures of the three characters are close-ups that doesn't really give viewers a good look. Still, the princess' eyes strike an immediate resemblance to Futurama characters, who were also created by Groening.

Netflix has ordered 20 episodes of the show, which will be split into two ten episode seasons. The Simpsons recently wrapped up their 29th season.
