Brie Larson should have checked the number.

Brie Larson decided to take to Twitter to influence her followers to go vote on Monday (November 5). Election day sent America into a political frenzy after the Democrats took back the House, although they sustained losses in key states. Larson is suited up in her Captain Marvel costume from the upcoming Marvel film in the advertisement, and she posts up in a phone booth surrounded by "Rock the Vote" signs. "CAPTAIN MARVOTE IS A BAD PUN BUT NOW THAT I HAVE YOUR ATTENTION PLEASE VOTE TOMORROW," she wrote as the caption. Eagle-eyed viewers were able to discern the phone number written on the phone booth, which is 1-800-654-2192. Where the phone number led to was a surprise for everyone.

A Reddit user connected the number to an old episode of the Disney series The Suite Life of Zack & Cody. Back when the show was on the air (from 2005-2008), callers were greeted with “Thank you for calling ABC. The number you have reached is fictional, non-working number used for motion picture and television productions.” Now, callers can hear a prerecorded, “Welcome to America’s hottest talk line” after several rings. Advertising the sex hotline was obviously not the intention of Larson, but nothing goes unnoticed on the internet.
