The cover story calls Nicki "fashion's latest muse."

Nicki Minaj has shared her cover of Vogue Arabia's September issue on Instagram. The black-and-white shot features Nicki in an extravagant dress and is paired with the line: "Music's bad girl is fashion's latest muse." When the magazine hits shelves it will come complete with a cover story on the rapper, who released her long-awaited fourth studio album Queen last Friday. Take a look at the cover below.

Minaj has had some memorable covers in the past. In most recent memory, her shoot for Paper Magazine's Break The Internet issue in November 2017 went viral, as it was designed to. Her upcoming Vogue Arabia cover will be her first for Vogue.

In October 2017, Rihanna covered Vogue Arabia. At the time, the magazine faced some criticism for featuring non-Arab women on its cover. Prior to that, Vogue India faced similar backlash when it featured Kendall Jenner on its tenth-anniversary issue. The magazine responded with a statement: "India has given the world so many beautiful faces to admire. After all, we are Vogue, an international brand, and we want to give the love back by featuring some of the best international celebrities on our covers. Occasionally!"

Nicki's Queen album is reportedly neck-and-neck with Travis Scott's Astroworld for the No. 1 spot on the Billboard 200 next week. Minaj recently added her hit collaboration with 6ix9ine "FeFe" to the album as the 20th track, which could boost her sales. She has also announced a limited deal that gives fans who purchase a five-dollar poster a free download code for the album as well as a 3-month Tidal trial.
