Nike and Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson have officially introduced his first lifestyle signature sneaker, the Nike Dangeruss Wilson 1, which will be available tomorrow, July 19.
The high-top kicks have been revealed in a classic all-black colorway, featuring a heel Air Max bag for performance and comfort, patent leather on the tongue, a perforated heel counter and what Nike's referring to as a "butter leather mudguard" to provide a classy look for the red carpet.
Per Nike:
"The Nike Dangeruss Wilson 1 takes its inspiration from the dual dynamism of quarterback Russell Wilson — powering his goals in the gym and polishing his look outside of it. The shoe includes a heel Air Max bag for performance and comfort, while the patent leather on the tongue and the added butter leather on the mud guard provide a classy look for the red carpet (or other formal affairs). Wilson’s number three, also a symbol of wholeness and consistency, informs other features of the shoe."
The Nike Dangeruss Wilson 1, releasing tomorrow via nike.com, will retail for $130.
According to ESPN's Darren Rovell, Wilson will give fans an on-foot look tonight at the ESPY Awards, scheduled to begin at 8:00pm ET.
