Before we get into the internet's hilarious reaction to Russell Wilson's new "Armed & Dangeruss" poster, let's first understand why this ridiculous looking poster was made in the first place.
Seattle natives, Tock and John Costacos aka the Costacos Brothers have sold over 30 million copies of their iconic sports posters in the 80s and 90s but they came out of retirement for this 24" x 36" "Armed & Dangeruss" piece. If you're familiar with their work, this Russell Wilson poster is exactly what you'd expect but that isn't saving it from the ruthless internet savages.
All of the proceeds from the sale of the $20 poster will go to Russell Wilson's "Why Not You Foundation" whose goal is to motivate, empower and prepare today's youth to be tomorrow's leaders. If interested, click here.
As for the poster: It's a "Where's Waldo" of outrageous items positioned behind Rambo Wilson. For instance, there's a duffle bag of "Magic Russ's tricks", a mixtape, a crate of "flaming dimes," a box of "endzone seekers", a clock, an entire playbook on purpose among other leather bound books.
Now onto the roast:
