While in Philadelphia performing at Budweiser's Jay Z-curated "Made In America" festival this weekend, A$AP Rocky was asked about his reaction to Kendrick Lamar's infamous verse on Big Sean's Hall Of Fame B-side "Control".
Rocky's answer was simple: "I feel like everything's going to be blown out of proportion these days... of course it is. It's hip-hop. He did what he did and I think people who had a problem with it said something. People who didn't have a problem with it didn't," Rocky told Revolt TV.
Unlike other artists such as Joell Ortiz, Papoose, Joe Budden, King Los and Cassidy, Rocky didn't feel the need to respond in rhyme. He feels this sort of thing should be expected in the genre at this point.
