Ndamukong Suh will be lining up next to the reigning Defensive Player of the Year, Aaron Donald, on the Los Angeles Rams defensive line next season. That's a terrifying thought, especially if you're a quarterback or offensive lineman in the NFC West.
The Rams agreed to a one-year $14M deal with Suh earlier this week, setting up what could be the most dangerous pairing of interior linemen in NFL history. The 31-year old defensive tackle has been named first-team All-Pro three times since being drafted second overall by the Detroit Lions eight years ago, and he compiled 51½ sacks from 2010 to 2017, according to ESPN.
Suh had previously visited with the New Orleans Saints and Tennessee Titans, and he had a bigger offer from the New York Jets, but ultimately decided to sign with the Rams. Los Angeles' defensive coordinator Wade Philips and quarterback Jared Goff were among those who took to social media to show their approval of the team's latest signing.
In addition to Suh, the Rams also signed cornerbacks Marcus Peters and Aqib Talib via free agency this-offseason. There's also the ongoing reports that the team is interested in trading for New York Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. but that's a different story.
