LSU's star running back Leonard Fournette has officially signed with Jay Z's Roc Nation Sports, which represents current NFL stars like Dez Bryant, Todd Gurley, Victor Cruz and Ndamukong Suh.
Fournette has also announced that he has played in his last college game and won't be suiting up for the Citrus Bowl on New Year's Eve to ensure that he's fully healthy for the upcoming NFL Draft. An ankle injury has caused him to miss five games this season alone.
"This is one of the hardest decisions I've ever had to make, not playing in the bowl, but it's best for me and my future," Fournette said. "It was hard telling the guys. I love them dearly. You grow so close together through this. I'll forever thank them and support them."
Stanford's Christian McCaffrey also wants to be in tip top shape for the Draft and announced that he'll be skipping his team's matchup against North Carolina in the Hyundai Sun Bowl Game as well.
Both of their decisions to sit out the bowl games have been met with criticism from some current and former NFL players, including Donovan McNabb who is "worried about the example this sets for the kids." For the record, McNabb has two DUIs.
