Without question, Tekashi 6ix9ine is one of the biggest names to have come out of New York in years. That's saying a lot since New York has one of the most talented rosters in America. With he and Cardi B sitting in the respective king and queen's thrones for the time being, it was a given for him to be invited to Hot 97's annual Summer Jam bash. While he probably should have been locked in for a performance or a guest spot, Hot 97 opted to deny him entrance, leading to the rainbow-haired rapper lashing out on social media against the radio station and it's leading personality, Ebro Darden.
After having vented to his buddy DJ Akademiks, Tekashi took to Instagram to call out Ebro for denying him into the venue. Deleting the post shortly after posting, he said, "Ebro, you are p-ssy. Don't let nobody forget the fact that a couple of years ago, 50 Cent told you 'Boy stop fucking playing with me now before I smack the shit out you and fuck you up' and you said 'No bro, chill.'" Handing the L to Hot 97, 6ix9ine also went on to claim that New York doesn't support their own in another since-deleted post. Posting a photo of some of the most prominent Atlanta rappers as members of the Hawks, Tekashi said that Atlanta gets the W since "NY don't support NY."
His comments were definitely in the heat of battle, which is likely the reason he was so swift in deleting the posts. Claiming that everybody in the crowd was waiting for him to show up on stage, 6ix9ine thinks Hot 97 took a huge L for neglecting to include him on the bill. What do you think?
