Yesterday, Joe Budden released a teaser trailer for a brand new YouTube series, Pull Up, starring himself, Charlamagne Tha God, Casanova, Maino, and Wayno.
While the internet has never been starved for Joe Budden content (he still records and uploads his weekly podcast to YouTube), but he still left a void in the internet's heart after his sudden departure from Everyday Struggle last year. The show seems to take on a somewhat similar format, with Joe and friends taking on various current topics in the rap world in a round table format. Pull Up will be a little different, in that it's shot at a dining room table, over a nice brunch.
Details on the actual show are currently unavailable, so it isn't known how frequently these will be made or whether or not the current co-hosts will be present in future episodes. The first episode, with debuts on Saturday, April 21, at 11AM Eastern, has an incredibly New York-centric cast, and the topic's they'll be discussing seem to follow that as well.
In the short clip Budden posted online, they're discussing New York firebrand Tekashi 6ix9ine, and his constant provocations of seemingly everybody. Joe says that if no one takes out Tekashi before he gets too rich and famous, then no one will be able to stop him. The hosts then compare Tekashi and 50 Cent, something Budden has done previously.
Other topics set for episode one include, "set trippin'," "Atlanta rap," and "Desiigner."
