Harris was reportedly not forthcoming with the truth about the house.

Calvin Harris, the Scottish musician and DJ who's latest album, Funk Wav Bounces Vol. 1, featured collaborations with Frank Ocean, The Migos, Nicki Minaj, and many more, has reportedly been hit with a lawsuit from a man who leased his home on Sunset Strip in West Hollywood.

According to TMZ, the man in question, Harry Moscatel, had been leasing Harris' home for a paltry $35,000 a month, in addition to a $70,000 security deposit. Despite the high cost of living, the home apparently had several glaring issues, including hot water, heating, broken doors, and a not working sound system. Considering the monthly rent is higher than some people make in a year, it's not unreasonable to expect the home to be in working order.

Moscatel is ready to sue to have the lease he signed be considered null and void, and to recover some of the money that he spent on renting the home. The suit claims that because Moscatel is an elderly man and is considered legally blind, he's protected under the Americans With Disabilities Act, in addition to other technical arguments. Moscatel and his family have since vacated Harris' home.

TMZ reached out to Harris and his team, but they have yet to respond.

This isn't the first time that Moscatel has had home trouble, as he and his family made headlines in August, 2017, when his son, Cole Moscatel's, hover board somehow caught fire, torching their multi-million dollar home. It's possible that this family is just extremely bad at home maintenance.
