Kendrick Lamar and Jay Rock hit their old block in the "Wow Freestyle" music video.

Jay Rock is a few months removed from his latest album, Redemption. The project dropped in June and the Top Dawg veteran has been dishing out new visuals for the album ever since. He released the twin videos for his single, "Tap Out" with Jeremih earlier this month and now, he follows it with the visuals for "Wow Freestyle" with Kendrick Lamar.

Jay Rock and Kendrick Lamar reflect on humbler days in their new music video for "Wow Freestyle." The track is one of two tracks K. Dot's featured on from the project aside from "King's Dead" with Future. The video, which was directed by Jack Begert, opens up with Jay Rock and Kendrick Lamar hopping inside of Top Dawg's red Dodge Charger. The video shows clips of the rappers during their come-up and mobbing out on their old block. Jack Begert does a great job at highlighting Jay Rock and Kendrick Lamar's come-ups in the game and their transformation since they rocked oversized jeans and fitted caps.

Jay Rock might be pushing out a whole lot of visuals for Redemption, but he revealed a few months after the album dropped that he's already eager to work on a new album. It feels like a 2019 release date is unlikely, but regardless, we're excited to hear what Jay Rock is gearing up to release in the future.
