Music festivals are easily one of the best parts of the summer, but unfortunately, they can sometimes end with tragedy as did this year's Lollapalooza Chicago festival. According to The Hollywood Reporter, a 16-year-old boy named Evan Kitzmiller sadly passed away yesterday on the festival's last day. Evan was reportedly found unconscious Sunday and was pronounced dead at the hospital.
Police did not release any further details about Evan's cause of death, but his mother says he suffered a seizure and his heart stopped. The festival released a statement saying the teen and his family "are in our thoughts."
This year's headliners for the festival in Chicago's Grant Park saw The Weeknd, Travis Scott, Bruno Mars, Arctic Monkeys, Jack White and endless other big names such as Post Malone, Tyler, The Creator, Gucci Mane, Lil Pump, Lil Uzi Vert and more. Speaking of festival's, the Mala Luna Music Festival in Texas unveiled its line up today with Cardi B, Nicki Jam and Tyler, The Creator taking the top spot. Check out the full lineup here.
