With festival season quickly approaching, one of the heavyweight champs has stepped forth to prove its weight. Tried and true Chicago based festival Lollapalooza has officially unveiled its extensive lineup, which features a cavalcade of prominent artists across all genres. As hip-hop remains the nation's preferred genre, it's only natural that some of the key players have come forward to hold it down. For those of ya'll who happen to enjoy other genres, one might notice the welcome return of Vampire Weekend (new album en route) and Arctic Monkeys, whose dope AM record seemed to draw influences from Dr. Dre.
Hip-Hop is represented by The Weeknd, Travis Scott, Post Malone, Lil Uzi Vert, Logic, Khalid, Bruno Mars, Tyler, The Creator, LL Cool J, Gucci Mane, Brockhampton, Playboi Carti, Lil Pump, Daniel Caesar, Goldlink, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, Nav, London On Da Track, and more. Those who also enjoy alternate genres can't go wrong with The National, Vampire Weekend, Arctic Monkeys, Jack White, St Vincent, James Bay and many more. Headliners have yet to be officially announced, but there are plenty of potential options.
The Festival is set to take place from August 2nd to August 5th, at Chicago's Grant Park. Tickets are currently on sale at the official Lollapalooza website here. Check out the entire lineup below.
