Trippie Redd has a funny way of turning his former collaborators into his enemies, as plainly seen by his various call outs and threats towards Tekashi 6ix9ine. However, it seems that Trippie is willing to give credit where credit is due, and put beef aside in order to celebrate the music.
Besides 6ix9ine, Trippie has also been conducting a high profile beef with Florida rapper XXXTentacion. After X gave his opinion on the Trippie/6ix9ine beef, telling them to leave each other alone, Trippie fired back at X. Firstly, he claimed that X had stolen his entire style from him and Ski Mask The Slump God, as well as accusing him of abusing women.
While Trippie and X had previously collaborated on X's single "Fuck Love" off his 2017 album, 17, it seemed as though there was little hope of the two of them reconciling their differences. However, a video Trippie posted on Instagram last night shows that they can at least be civil with each other.
The video shows Trippie, filming himself in front of a mirror, and holding the platinum plaque for "Fuck Love." He then starts to sing his feature from the track, waving the plaque in the air. He captions the video with, "@xxxtentacion I didn’t think I’d ever get this plaque cause of our differences thanks bub much love and respect 1,000,000 copies sold in the US 🤓😋🚫🧢."
The track actually went platinum way back in March, so it seems that X decided to man up too and send Trippie his plaque. Check out the video of Trippie below.
