A Nas and Swizz album would be insane.

Nas and Swizz Beatz have been thriving in the rap game for decades. They both came up in the 90's, where the landscape of hip-hop was completely different. While Nas was laying down lyrical assaults on classic albums like It Was Written, Swizz was busy building the Ruff Ryders collective. DMX and Swizz may be the most prolific rap/producer combination of all time, but that's another discussion. Swizz is gearing up for the release of his album Poisonand while speaking with Pitchfork about the upcoming project, he revealed that he and Nas have an entire album in the stash.

“I did his album two years ago in one week in L.A.,” Swizz revealed of the untitled Nas project. “In the studio every day at 12 o’clock, just bang bang bang. Recorded the whole thing, got it all on film. It was an ill process.” Swizz continued on to describe the Nas album as “super crazy, maniac shit.” Nas rarely lets one producer build his entire album, with the exception being Kanye West, who produced his latest album NasirHopefully, the unreleased Nas and Swizz album surfaces sooner rather than later, because those seven songs on Nasir won't hold fans of the Godson over for very long.
