It will feature Nas and many others.

Swizz Beatz' new album Poison will arrive "this month," he announced on Instagram Monday. The announcement arrived accompanied by a photo of the producer with Nas, who has been confirmed to appear on the project.

The announcement follows Swizz' reveal that he produced an entire unreleased Nas album. “I did his album two years ago in one week in L.A.,” he said in an interview with Pitchfork. “In the studio every day at 12 o’clock, just bang bang bang. Recorded the whole thing, got it all on film. It was an ill process.” Swizz continued on to describe the Nas album as “super crazy, maniac shit.”

We may never hear that project, but it's only a matter of time before we get Swizz' long-awaited sophomore album set to feature Kendrick Lamar, Pusha T, Lil Wayne, Young Thug2 ChainzThe Lox, Giggs, Jim Jones. After that, the producer apparently has an additional four albums prepped ("All different concepts, all different messages, all different sounds"). According to Swizz, the album will be 10 tracks in length. It will not feature the Kanye West and Bono song recorded for the project, as it simply felt "too big."

As for Nas, he's fresh off of releasing his long-awaited twelfth studio album Nasir, which arrived as part of Kanye West's 5-week stretch of projects in June.
