DC's movie universe has been shaky, to say the least. Out of the several films tied into the DCEU, Wonder Woman has been the most praised, by far. The film, which was directed by Patty Jenkins, is the second highest grossing movie in the DCEU after Batman V Superman. Gal Gadot played Princess Diana in the film, and she has been heralded as the savior of the DC movie franchise. A sequel to Wonder Woman, titled Wonder Woman 1984, is set to hit theaters next year and is currently filming in Washington DC and Virginia.
While in the DMV area, Gal Gadot decided to stop by a Children's Hospital to bring some cheer to ailing fans. A pediatric nephrologist named Patty Seo-Mayer uploaded a photo to Twitter that displays Gadot visiting the Inova’s Children’s Hospital in Falls Church, Virginia. "Dear @GalGadot- Thank you SO MUCH for visiting my patients and colleagues at #InovaChildrensHospital," wrote Seo-Mayer. "Next time, can you align your visit with my call schedule? Love, #SuperFan." It appears that the visit was a surprise for both the staff and the kids, and was an altruistic move on Gadot's part. Her filming schedule must be insane right now, so the fact she took the time to visit these children unannounced speaks volumes about her character. She's a real-life hero.
