Their latest gadget has the general public excited for its forthcoming debut.

Since the release of the iPhone X last year, people have been waiting with bated breath to see how Apple will expand upon this sleek and high-tech iteration of their popular smartphone. Many have suspected that the California-based company will release a iPhone X Plus, which would include an even bigger screen to captivate a consumer's sense of sight.

Apple is reportedly gearing up to launch this forthcoming model sometime in September, and will feature a 6.2-inch OLED display, the biggest thus far for any iPhone product.

Hypebeast notes how the smartphone will include an edge-to-edge retina display, as opposed to a rumoured 6.5-inch screen with the more standard LED technology. The screen's size will allegedly be comparable to Samsung's S9+, but will be wider and shorter in relation to the iPhone 8 Plus. Apple will also be adding some slight alterations to the model, which may include "new colour options and integrating faster components."

Apple is gearing up for a busy 2018, as similar reports have also indicated that they will release three new smartphone options this year. Following the iPhone X Plus, the company is set to update their existing iPhone X model, as well as introduce a newer, cheaper option with fewer features.
