Last night, the film made its official premiere in Los Angeles, and audiences who attended the glitzy event are walking away captivated by what they saw. Those lucky few who were invited to the advanced screening took to social media to express their utter delight, as they praised both the narrative heft and cinematic achievements of the film.
Particular praise has centred around the choice of characters in the film, from Michael B. Jordan's fantastic villainous role, to Lupita Nyong'o's brazenly strong turn as Nakia, the former flame of Chadwick Boseman's T'Challa.
