This will be Logic's second consecutive VMAs performance.

Logic, Ariana Grande, and Shawn Mendes have been confirmed as performers at the upcoming 2018 MTV VMAs, according to Variety. Logic, who performed his anti-suicide song "1-800-273-8255" at last year's show is set to perform his new track "One Day," where he will be joined by OneRepublic' Ryan Tedder. Grande, whose fourth album Sweetener will arrive three days prior to the show, will perform her second single "God Is A Woman." Meanwhile, Mendes will do "In My Blood."

As for awards, Cardi B and The Carters (better known as Jay-Z and Beyoncé) lead the gender-neutral categories with 10 nominations a piece, including video, song and artist of the year. From there, Childish Gambino and Drake each have seven, Bruno Mars has six, Camila Cabello has five, and Ed Sheeran, Khalid and Young Thug have each earned four.

It was previously announced that Jennifer Lopez will be honored with the Michael Jackson video vanguard award, and will also perform. Itis has not been announced which song(s) she will be performing, but artists who receive the award often do a medley of hits. She is also nominated for two additional VMAs, including Best Collaboration and Best Latin, both for her DJ Khaled and Cardi B-assisted "Dinero" single.
