Winnie Harlow stopped by Andy Cohen's Watch What Happens Live on Bravo recently, and voiced her opinion on how America's Next Top ModelHarlow competed in the 21st season of the series after Tyra Banks invited her to join the competition. The beautiful and talented model has a skin condition called Vitiligo, which has not stopped her from reaching successful heights in her career. Although the average consumer wouldn't have claimed to know Harlow before her appearance on America's Next Top Model, she feels as if the show did not help her.
“I really started after the show,” Harlow told Cohen. “‘Cause ['America’s Next Top Model'] really didn’t do anything for my career. Which, it doesn’t do anything for any model’s career, realistically.” She continued on to acknowledge her thankfulness for being on the series. “It was still a part of my history, and I’m really grateful for everything that I’ve done to get to where I am," she stated. She also claimed that the show is for reality stars, not aspiring models. “I thought that [the show] was gonna be a career starter, but it was really like, a reality TV show. That’s not what I signed up for.”
