After signing with MMG, Omarion has been working hard on releasing new music of his own and on collaborative projects. Recently he announced he will be dropping his fourth studio album Love & Other Drugs, and now talks about some features to be expected, although the singer says he plans to keep it light on guests. He then talks about a MMG possibly releasing Self Made Vol. 3, and how they are currently working on a remix to “M.I.A.”
Talking about producers that will be assisting on his upcoming solo album, O mentions long time collaborator Tank, and Pharrell as people he’s worked with recently, “Tank, he was a writer and producer on my first album. He's been a part of every project I've done as a solo artist. He's done some awesome music for the album. The MMG signer goes onto add, “I cut some records with Pharrell. I don't know whether we're going to be able to keep him on the album,” and goes onto add other collabs, “I'm working with Eric Hudson again. James Fauntleroy.”
One specific track he is excited about is the remix to “M.I.A.” which will have big features from MMG’s Rick Ross, and Rockie Fresh, as well as French Montana, “It's a special record. On the remix, there's Rozay of course, got French Montana and we got Rockie Fresh.”
Asked about potential MMG collaborative projects, Omarion says he doesn’t know when the next Self Made project will drop, but fans should expect a project soon, “Nah, we haven't just yet. But knowing Rozay, in the future, most definitely, whether it's touring or it is a Self Made Vol. 3.”
